sometimes (most of the time actually) I have a concept in mind but it's still blurry and I'm not sure how I want to show it, so I search (and it's usually super abstract like the first one then I clean up a little XD)

sometimes my idea is so clear in my head I tend to go overboard and my "color rough" end up already very precise (usually happen for zine related works)

I thought I'll give it a try? I don't keep most of my first sketches because I tend to paint over it, but I managed to find some old and recent one so here a thread!

When I have a clear idea in mind I tend to draw the main elements, then refine.

Morgane, from my comic. She’s an elementalist specializing in earth and water magic. She’s also Juniper’s mentor. She’s called the "Fairy of the North" as she’s in charge of this area which get many tempest. She’s a very down to earth person, she only cares about family and money
