His face up close

My latest project for my Anatomy and Rendering course.
I didn't realize it at the time, but his face really concluded in a "Gold Experience Requiem but On Meth" vibe to it.

A good test of my new freckle brush on the starry sky too.

Completed version of last night's sketch. Tried yet another different shading style for this one.

Her name's Neran Sovalier, and her wings are actually cloth filled with magic, not orgnanic wings. They wrap around her waist when not active

This face I came up with for one of my current class projects looks horrifying and I love it

Just some self-indulgent character designing and shading.

Her name, Vatesin Armarene, came to me as a play on the Fallout V.A.T.S. system, because her ability is to view things in bullet speed with her left eye, and annihilate anything with surgical precision after analysis.

A comparison: One of the pieces I put in my portfolio when applying for my art college, made in 2016, compared to one of my Junior year projects now, 4 years later.
