Year Eleven. Lot's of Riddler action in this run. These all run in their entirety.
Year Ten. We start with 4-6 of Teen Titans, and then 1-4 of Catwoman. A single issue for that brilliantly insane Dark Mite story by Grant and O'Neil, then the complete Batgirl Year One miniseries.
Year Three and the first minor continuity clashes creep in. They're inevitable ultimately, but I tried to keep them low impact. This is also the first instance where I selected a single issue out of a series. World's Finest #1 works - but the rest of that book do not.
Anyway... it was an amazing job. Since I left, the @CourtoftheDead stuff has grown to encompass board games and graphic novels and toys and jewelry. If you like my work, check it out. I'm not a part of that world anymore, but there's a bit of me still buried deep inside it.
Gethsemoni was easily one of my favorites. On the surface a vain character who exists only to serve herself, but behind that veil is possibly one of the most loyal and caring figures in Death's Court. She cares so much she will wound her children if it means saving them.
I came into this project early-ish, but a lot of the bones (no pun intended) had already been built by Tom and another contributor. My longtime friend and editor @gimpnelly knew I was in need of some work, and brought me into the fold on what was still a relatively raw world...
@rgluckst Very much. But my favorite wonky Dr. Who design stuff is from the last 2nd Doctor serial, the War Games.
@ChrisFenoglio Off topic... you ever see I made El Sob an official DC comics town in Red Lanterns?
@ChrisFenoglio For what it's worth - this is a topic I have been railing against for some time. It's the foundation of Danger Club, which is entirely meant to underscore the wrongness of the transformation of superheroes from kids entertainment to grisly murder-books.
