Tried out a different way of sketching in 3D - started with an oblong sphere, and tried carving into it to make the initial forms - messy but fun!

Just noticed today is #MayThe4thBeWithYou
- seems a good time to finally share this sketch painting I never got around to posting!

I loved how Porgs in the film were created to cgi-out the numerous real-life puffins on the set location, haha.

Here's the in-progress sculpt of my charr! It's a completely new model from the Blender one I posted last week, created from scratch in ZBrush to practice!

I need to learn how to do those fancy turntable shots once I finally finish one of these. 😃

I'm learning #ZBrush! I found out they have a 30-day free trial, and a much more affordable consumer version that's more accessible for my mostly hobbyist-level-interest - trying it out to see if I might want to use it for more sculpting!
