Seeing as best anime is trending apparently - I'm not declaring these are THE best but they're the four I like the most. I usually prefer short OVAs.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is not short, but it is an OVA, and I recommend it. I watch new stuff too but these stick with me.

Someone uploaded the Despera artbook to Internet Archive, some half decent scans with a sad split down the middle. So I thought I'd have a go at stitching them together and a little tidying up. All the images I've ever found online were a bit poor quality otherwise.
