9. Alex Mercer (Prototype)

Alex Mercer is every 12-year-old's (and child-at-heart's) ideal protagonist. As bland and edgy as he is, that's what makes him entertaining as hell - he's the best mix of blasé murderer and tryhard byronic hero there is. My favorite edgelord, bar none.
