This was a quick photo study that got outta hand, but I enjoyed it. I actually abandoned my 20in yiynova to finish this on the ipad, a real twist of fate.

#drawingwhileblack, the # is back with a vengeance! I'm 31 with a day job and produce pretty slow, but I still love to paint.

Seeing the students in this tag with already amazing art gives me so much warmth and hope, and I'm super grateful for it.

Painted these Wah-Ladies that I drew in an inktober like 2 years ago. I think I've settled on Plumb and Dahlia as the names for these Wahs.

#drawingwhileblack introduced me to so many black folk I might not have otherwise seen, like that hyper-realism movement in Nigeria, and so, so many industry artists, I'm glad its back. I just did ArtVsArtist, so here's some more old stuff I never posted to twitter, also my cat.

Going to stop noodling about on this, might revisit it later though. This started as a doodle on the plane back home after christmas, I'm enjoying the iPads ability to let me slowly take something further despite being all over the place.
