I’ve followed Cat as a designer for a while and they always make games that are excellent for oneshots, and bring new and fresh takes to trad genres. This time, he’s taken on the zombie movie, and I’m glad to be able to say he’s done it again!

Who is this very tall man? Why is this sword bigger than the average adventurer? What is this mysterious sarcophagus inside a skull? Why does Auril look so annoyed?

Find out all this and more in my adventure, Winter's Mourning. Out when releases tomorrow! https://t.co/jGKVP1ABmo

Wow, we're in our last 3 days!

Stolen Crown is a starting adventure for Lancer, where you play the role of mech politics discovering the secrets which lie frozen deep within the glaciers of Sparr. Take a look at the Kickstarter campaign 🔽

Welcome to Sparr
The people here are a proud part of the Union; their bloody history is only a footnote in sagas of prosperity.

But Sparr has a secret.
A murdered god, long frozen in the ice, awakens.
An ancient injury demands to be avenged.

What's your play, Lancer?

This was a interesting take on conflict light adventure; it doesn't shy away from combat at all. You have to explore dangerous places to get the ingredients the Thatch family needs, and battle the creatures you encounter there. But violence for its own sake is never the goal.

But it's not just whimsical with no purpose. There's a powerful story behind it, tinged with melancholy and just a little bit of hope.

Esmerelda Thatch is dying and her children have made a deal with Death - if they can recreate her famous recipe, their mother lives.

Just reverting to this method of promotion for everything now

Another little spread from Stolen Crown, my project. I'm pretty sure I'm going to run a small KS in November to do physical copies because I love this adventure.

Do you like sci-fi? Neat. Do you like BATTLING GIANT MOTHS in a post fall landscape? Of course you do, you'd be mad not to.

Hieronymous, a inspired by the paintings of the medieval artist Hieronymous Bosch, is now out. In it, you play refugees fleeing an astral terror called the the Follower (which may or may not be a metaphor for the death agony of feudalism)
