#Ennead S2 ch51 spoilers //
The men raid the temple of Isis in search of the women. They are unable to find them because Hanekate is using the last bit of her power to protect them. Horus and Seth make it on time to save them
My Ennead prediction: if Hanekate's magic is due to being a high priestess of Isis (basically a conduit of Isis and her magic), then the spell is fading because Isis has been put to sleep and all her magic and spells are draining. Large spells lose its power faster+
-but still caring nonetheless. Seth isn't the easiest person to get along/tolerate, so slack has to be given at some point to the people dealing with him.
It's easy to make Horus the villain to proof yourself right, just as Seth had done. Make him appear crazy, obsessed, and +
And that after all the rotten things he did, there is no way Horus could possibly have loving feelings for him and that only spending that night with him gave him an "obsession" as Osiris had done the same. And so he curses at Horus and mocks him for it,+
Overall, I see part of it as Seth not wanting to remember his shame & wants to remain as unloved since he had said that he deserved to be in the gutter when he was being hauled away with FG. I do think he sees a lot of potential in Horus as king, since he himself failed.+
It's very multi-layered and it's accumulated to this one particular point of desperation for Horus, and for Seth to rebuke him with disgust. No wonder, it's the son of Osiris after all. Naturally he'd be as revolting as him. +
I get the feeling that Seth was trying to find an excuse to dismiss Horus. Though I will say there is a ton to digest with between what happened to Horus & Seth on that night, plus what happened to Seth & FG, as well as Seth & Osiris. +
#Ennead thoughts
Ruin their lives because together there is strength & power. And with Horus the Elder gone, the four remaining never stood a chance her game. There has to be more to Osiris' descent into obsession than meets the eye.
Let me know what you think of this crack theory!
So many Ennead thoughts! Aaah!! I wonder if the secret of the fifth brother will slowly begin to be revealed now that Horus lacks his intuition. A lot still isn't understood or agreed on with the Egyptian rebirth, so I wonder how Mojito will interpret it! +
#Ennead Can't help but to think Seth is a little bit jealous of Horus, not just for his looks (in that he looks grand like a god) but that Nut favored him. He says "I'm Nut's son, and I'm getting annoyed." Why even mention Nut, Seth? 😏 He really does have mommy issues.
