Started coloring. A lot of blues, which was not intended, but oh well, it's one of Sydney's favorite colors, so it's fine :p

Coloring is so much more relaxing and less stressful than sketching lol. I also think I might be kinda close to finding my "art style".

Sketch is done. And just in case anybody gets to thinkin' I'm just magically able to do anything without a reference, I'm actually using this stock photo for one with some slight changes added lol. Still, I like it so far, I think it looks good.

I've been going through a massive creative drought, so I might just do character copies for a while. Here's a classic Amy Rose copied off the official art, because I really like classic Amy's design :3

The story here is Sydney is a very sad and lonely child who has ran away from home following the death of her parents. After protecting the Sobble from a wild Ursaring, Sydney is attacked herself. The cowardly Sobble then steps in to bravely return the favor and a bond is born.

I'm incredibly proud of this one!! I know it's a redraw of a scene from the anime (reference is in the next comment), so it's not really an "original" work, but seeing as how I did Sydney purely from scratch, I'm still proud of it. The background's not half bad either :3

I'm incredibly proud of myself for this one. I know it's nowhere near perfect, but it just looks so good imo for my skill level, I can't help it :p
