someone sent me that pic of a dog and I was like, damn I gotta draw that dog, and so I did a quick little study/sketch
if you know whose dog this is, tell em he's great

I struggled for a little while in the beginning to find colors I liked, so I played a LOT with curves and color balance, even well into the drawing

this is also like, up until the end, basically 2 layers, background, character, and I worked directly from the sketch

and there it is, finished the painting, I'll include the timelapse in the replies
this is in continuation of my "go stupid with the colors" series, and this 90% default roundbrush too
overall very fun

(very) quick timelapse btw, I drew it all on basically a single layer, only sometimes making another layer to add something in the background (before merging it again)

I saw this one artist drawing with a straight up round brush, not even hiding it or trying to make effects with it, just, straight up default round brush, and I was like, that's SSS tier.
And I think I'll be using it more often!
