Delved into scriptwriting to shake off my dizziness. The idea of making a comic for these characters is a prospect I'm fond of, because it would help me use the human/anthro angle better. Little scene explorations sold the visual approach to me!

I have introduced Camille, but not his rival, Jules Renoir. Successful director known from his solid storytelling and warm disposition, coming from humble beginnings. Little known fact is that he was Camille's collaborator when they started, one half of an experimental duo.

His name is Jules.

Leave it to Mosaïque to take a break from work by doing more work. It's a nice mood piece, though, very relaxing to paint without thinking much about the technical details. I'm learning more about my story by doing this.

And obligatory Jean-Paul update. We're getting there, he should be done by the end of the week if I'm feeling better.

Rendered my character Gus the macaw a little, I love drawing birds. I hope tomorrow's session will be productive!

Worked a little more on this story piece, it's a relaxing thing. Needs correcting but fun. Wrist is feeling better, so it'll be back to detailing portraits after a coffee break.

Painting the flowers red this morning... Bit of wrist pain so I'll take it easy and rest after this session.

Tempted to go back to this underpainting style, which I may do more thoroughly for commissions. I have had a "no sketch/freeform" approach lately which is fine but these extra steps could work with some designs and help with providing WIPs... I want to provide a good service.
