Aaravos has been with us since the very first episode of the show. It wasn't an out-of-world narrator, it was the in-universe character himself. He opens the map in every single episode as if he's the one framing the entire story, not unlike how he shaped events.

From left to right it looks like: Neolandia, Duren, Katolis, Del Bar, and Evenere. Guess the Orphan Queen replaced the King of Katolis after dealing with Aaravos had big consequences. Then established the Uneven Towers sigil, symbolic of strength in differences.

It's interesting that after Luna died, Rex, Domina, and Thunder were the main contenders for her throne without an heir. Because then how did Luna become Queen after Sol? Actually for that matter, how did Sol ever become King? I really wanna how succession works.
