Something I found out last year is that, when my mind is at its most turbulent, I find painting self portraits incredibly therapeutic. It’s like I take all the crap in my head and put it into another me. They are very rarely good portraits but they don’t need to be!

Hopefully gonna be going on a bit of a different adventure over the next year. One that's personal but I can also share with you all and something that I hope with help with my mental health. We will see.
For now heres my crappy still life drawing of my camera. 😂

@jabberworks I've used watercolours a lot. Never ink though. It always fascinates me how smooth of a wash you can get. This is one of my watercolours. I havent done one in a while, started with alcohol markers instead. 😫 Theres so many different things to illustrate with and so little time!

This picture popped up on facebook as a memory from 2 years ago!!! Scary how time flies. I haven't done so much of this kind of art for a year or so. It's always interesting to look back on though. 🥰
