@ten_comics @KingKaiserX Which is ironic because for a while DC made Rip Hunter their Cable and he even helped the fight against Gog who was half of the inspiration for the versions of Magog they use now

So we basically had Cable versus Cable

Since then the New 52 and even the current Earth Prime comic just combine the stories of both basically just giving Magog Gog's backstory every time. IE that he was a little kid and survived some sort of horrible event and blames Superman or heroes in general for it

And then for those four years Gog was running around then was killed by a "true" Gog from the Old Gods and Lance/ David Reid died and was reborn as Magog.

For a brief period in the early mid 2000's Gog was running around and basically had the origin he had from The Kingdom but without it being the same scale of Kansas apocalypse etc

Meanwhile every adaptation of Magog since has instead basically adapted a similar but entirely separate character: Gog.

I've pointed out plenty that seem off with the Earth-Prime comics but...
