The new year is off to a great start and i’m deep in the final art phase of The Spirit of Springer, the orca book I’m illustrating for @SasquatchBooks. This process will be taking up most of my time for the next few months, but I’ll try to share new work when I can. 🐬💦

If you haven't had a chance to read this crazy/tragic/complicated feature story in @TheStranger, I highly recommend it. This was a tricky illo assignment that overlaps a lot of thorny issues around kink, consent and body modification and emotional abuse.

Welcome to my world for the the next several months. I’m so happy to begin final artwork for The Spirit of Springer for @sasquatchbooks. Not only is it a dream project, but it’s a true, uplifting success story about a population of Orcas struggling for survival in the PNW.
