Why do fans freak out over “too much Charizard” in the games/wider series due to nostalgia pandering, but inflate every instance of the same Pokemon in the TCG because it’s historically been a classic and often rare card? 🤔

imagine getting different forms of Cranidos or Shieldon depending on where in the Underground you found their fossils in relation to the Overworld map

instead of Sinnohian(?) forms in the Gen 4 remakes, we get East and West variants of Pokemon depending on which side of Mt. Coronet they were caught

opens up a world of opportunities, dunno who they would do it for though
