Today I started to convert my sketches and doodles to illustrations. Done in the interest of learning and honing skills in the hope that I can illustrate my next book myself (if I get a 2nd!). What do you think of Dougal the Demon Dog?

So I fixed the eye and did the only thing I could see to do given the shape of things. I made A human/octopus hybrid thing!:
