Even if don’t like Peter and Gamora as a couple, this scene is kinda funny.
Gonna be re-reading The Amazing Mary Jane since it follows up on some plot points from Nick Spencer’s run and it’s also just one of the best Spider-Man spin offs in years since it does something new and interesting.
And it’s also a great female led book that’s written by-
There’s just something so hilarious about Reed and Tony (two of the smartest men in the entire Marvel Universe) not being able to come up with a way to find the heroes’ missing gear and Kamala managing to do it just by using Find My Phone.
You love to see it.
I honestly really like the idea of a support group for regular loved ones of superheroes and I think it’s an idea that feels really at home in a Spider-Man book as well as feeling like a better version of the Sanctuary concept from Heroes In Crisis.
I think that it was a really move for Nick Spencer to take by having his first arc be all about reestablishing what Spider-Man means and represents for both new and returning readers and readers from the previous run.
I really like how Ryan Ottley has MJ look different in flashbacks since I think it would be silly to have her look like she does at 30 when she was like 18.
I love how Storm is basically Kitty’s sassy surrogate mum😂😂😭😭
If the MCU doesn’t get their dynamic right, I will literally cry😭
Seeing how much Lockheed really loves and cherishes Kitty and the rest of Excalibur is adorable.
*Sees that there’s a Black Widow series written by Jody Houser*
*Is immediately sold*
I do not have high hopes for this from what I’ve seen of the promotional material for it.
