@ShawnWebster13 @RandleBraylon @ManFirestorm @bloodofkirby @PunchDrunkKing @buse_chris @CanadaDaredevil Marvel did a big collected edition of the Frontier books a few years ago. I wrote a big intro to Bloodseed for it, even did this new piece of art. :-)
An unpublished bit of concept art for an unmade movie of several years ago... I’ve done more unrealized work for movies that never saw the light of day than I care to remember!
@AtlBlerd Yup. It’s Steve. I gave him a beard and tattoo during our run. I miss beardy Steve!
Flashback Thursday - a few from the vaults! Frazetta’s The Death Dealer, Spawn the Dark Ages, Manthing, and Flesh from 2000ad. All painted digitally except the Manthing cover, which was acrylic on canvas.
That moment when Batman uses a hag stone to reveal the truth - three not terribly subtle Fomorians...
@SchubertRivas @feIinefabuIous I did this piece, which George Lucas bought off me. It was in Star Wars: Visions...
Anybody who enjoyed the Wonder Woman run I did with Greg Rucka really should like my follow-up series, The Brave & The Bold: Wonder Woman & Batman. It was very much the same Diana you knew & loved from our series. Available as a hardback & some of the work I'm most proud of!
In the Brave and The Bold I did something I’ve always wanted to do - I used the medium of comics to take the readers on a tour of somewhere epic and magical. Comics don’t always have to be hyper-compressed or violent, they can slow time too - which was right for the fairy realm.
