This is Auster, Zeph's father. He took over his wife's business after she was killed. He'd the quiet, mild-mannered type but definitely shouldn't be underestimated.

Alec was taken in by Zeph's family a decade ago but has few memories of his life before then. He has a soft spot for Zeph.
His power revolves around his unusual ability to manipulate his shadow.
