I really, really loved the looks that Earth 2 Hawkgirl, Kendra Munoz-Saunders, sported. There was something refreshing about the blue, un-Hawklike though it may have been, and both helmet designs were pretty great, I felt. It was a very different vibe, one I dug.

What they did to Teen Titans' Solstice is still one of the biggest downgrades in comic book history.

Speaking of gay stuff that's made me happy in comics this week, I present to you this BEAUTIFUL moment between Troy and Raven in this week's Multiversity: Teen Justice, which...if you guys haven't been reading, PLEASE DO. It's an excellent gem of a book that I love so much!

I seriously cannot wait for August 2nd. Mary Marvel (or, err, Lady Shazam, I guess?) taking center stage as the new champion of Shazam is going to be SO GOOD!

@GailSimone @DCComics There's a more imaginative version of this out there, but off the top of my mind, Wonder Woman, Zatanna, Hawkwoman, Star Sapphire, and Mera. It's a very typical Justice League sort of line-up, but we've never really seen these women as a team together before.

Also, her being recognized as a Batgirl in this book really made me happy, since it's one of the few times she gets that recognition and respect anywhere.

I'd really like to see @Marvel take another pass at this friendship. While #MarvelDivas was admittedly an awful, outdated title (even at the time the book was published!) there was a lot of potential for a strong friendship between Felicia, Patsy, Monica, and Angelica.

While the New 52 is trending, I have to say that I think one of the biggest mistakes Bat-editorial did was keeping Bette so far off the sidelines and not having her team-up with Babs. Seeing these two team-up and become friends would have been so interesting.
