Rosa and Leah both being into alt fashion and piercings isn't a coincidence. Leah was the first to be allowed to wear piercings and makeup and would often experiment with alt-style makeup/fake piercings on Rosa. The style grew on her and she stuck to it.

Kiki's actual name is Madelyn Wagner. She was born into a wealthy family and all her family friends and acquaintances were equally rich. Her best friend, Josephine, wasn't any different. They grew up together since both their fathers were close and the girls were inseparable.

Now let's talk about Kiki's life, because her past has been a big mystery to those who care about her lore. This is mostly bc I planned on revealing her past through a comic series. Needless to say that never happened, so I might as well reveal it here and now :]

Sometimes I deliberately go back to an old coloring style and suddenly it feels like I improved so much

For example: this drawing from 2019 (?) and this one from 2022 has the exact same shading style (pencil shading), but you can clearly see the improvement
