Time to Learn!
Bear character drawn after taking the first few segments of @AaronBlaiseArt's drawing bears course.
Sometimes learning can truly feel like magic. I drew this so much quicker than most of my sketches usually take!
"Verdance"
There, within the steamy tangle,
Beneath gently pattering vaults of green,
What lives amidst the jungles great exhalation,
And yet to human eyes remains unseen?

3 hour study from @noahbradley's Crabtree Falls ref pack. Practicing keeping it loose and not over fixating on details. Trying to build speed, which I really need. I can rough copy moderately fast, but when it comes from my head is where I feel I need that speed level-up the most
Can't remember if I ever posted this or not, but I was scrolling through old works and found this guy belonging to @Axikor2. I still really dig how even with a quick color job the lava spikes and interior glow turned out.
Found this day-time variant of my piece "The Forgotten Gargoyle" buried away in my files today. I enjoyed writing the story that went along with this series SO MUCH. Due to some very unfortunate circumstances, that anthology has yet to print. Forgotten, growing over weeds...
Finished my kirin sketch from my Designing Believable Creatures panel at @FurSquared. Had fun with this one!
@Neothetaa Hm, how drastically shaded are you talking here? The shading I have put in past refs I feel are fairly neutrally overcast and easy to understand, with varying levels of character detail/complexity.
Note: Axikor ref is not only mine but a collaboration between @scaleeth and I!
Patreon reward sketch for @katlolizard of one of his characters, Stella!
@foxfeather @Axikor2 Ahhh I'm glad you enjoyed the gift! Honestly, I've never been so charmed by any bird, and it serves as only a small measure of thanks for your wonderful hospitality and the opportunity to have met that cheeky scavenger! ❤️
