Wasn't in a great mood this evening, felt crummy about my art. Practicing Mint to feel better.
Realistic Zhongli... why are all the men in Genshin so incredibly attractive!!!

Are there some boss battles that you can never get out of your head? Here are some of mine. I really ought to do more of these.
If there is anything I have learned in these early years as a parent, its that children's media that is deemed "classic" because it was a big deal 30-40 years ago is sometimes garbage compared to what is available now. Here are some of my current favs for my daughter:
Silas' perspective is the character most of the story is told from. He is chipper and sociable, but the most confused about what he wants in life of the entire cast. He begins thinking that he wants to be a well-loved royal knight and swordsman.
Mia is a character who began as a minor side character, but grew into one of the main cast. She is essentially a half succubus, and just like with Opal, I wanted her to challenge stereotypes a reader might have about what that means. She foils some of Opal's behaviors too.
Thinking about how I've progressed over the years... There are some things about the simplicity and stylistic stuff in my older art that I miss... I wonder if I should ever try to take a step back from technical progression and recapture some of it.
Redesign of my OC, Opal. These are her new casual clothes that she wears while bartending and doing other odd jobs around the city.
I used tons of real-life references and worked really hard on this one! I feel pretty good about it, I need to use more references in my work.
