"So long as I'm around, the Shadewolves will never die." Fanart of Victor, one of the coolest dudes in #DragaliaLost #ドラガリ
@promisedsnacks I feel like I'm starting to get somewhere I've always wanted to be with the last two. Like, I've always wanted to create a style that is comparable to what Akihiko Yoshida does. A sketchy piece, layered with intricate colors and bolder outer lines.
An embarassing lookback on two of my oldest digital art (2006) pieces vs. two of my newest (2020). I was pretty adventurous with anatomy back then, and I had a lot to learn about drawing Asian faces that didn't look like a Western stereotype...
Berserker from Dragalia Lost. Don't be frightened, he's just going to the kitchen to get himself a glass of water. #DragaliaLost #ドラガリ
Doing more color practice on a recent drawing of Milly, one of my OCs. Like Mia, from the current trilogy of novels I'm working on, she is a half-human, half-daeccubae. She will be one of the main characters of the second set of novels, probably the one with the most screentime!
"You would cast aside true peace for all creatures of the world in exchange for the life of a single person?"
My tribute to Euden and his unfaltering quest to save the life of his sister... at whatever cost. #DragaliaLost #ドラガリ
A drawing of Mym from #DragaliaLost that I had been meaning to color for quite some time. I tried some new things in blending my digital colors with the pencil art, and I think its an improvement!
All of the books by Akiko Hayashi are so special for a little girl to read, we have the Chinese translations of them. Her art captures all of the wonder of a young family with a young daughter too, its so special.
I should mention that there are some children's books that are absolutely fantastic and have aged VERY well. Here are my favorite old ones that our daughter also loves:
Since I'm posting a bit of old art today, here are a few of my favorite pieces I've done for my OCs. Still planning to finish my trilogy of novels about their story. I'm halfway there, but it's a bit harder to dedicate time to finishing with a 2-year old running around :)
