Each page began with watercolour, some pencil was added and then each page was scanned. I then cleaned it up digitally and any edits that needed to be made were made digitally too.

I illustrated cards, and took on commissions and did any project that seemed interesting.
The cards in particular become relevant though because that’s what I sent to Little Island as samples of my work and as luck would have it, they needed an illustrator for a Christmas book
After college I was asked by @birrtheatre to have a solo show, I decided to make a book and the illustrations could be the exhibition and I would self publish it and sell the originals and prints to avoid the starving artist trope.
So came the book ‘How to Grow a Girl’
