I was exploring how i could minimize a face and still being able to read it as such. I also like how each step becomes a different character in the process.
I was doing some tests with animated lines. I liked the effect so I decided to use it for a portrait.
Experiment with some weaving loops.
I made a new self-portrait. I was aiming for a specific mix between real and more cartoon-like.
I was playing around with custom brushes in photoshop and ended up with this little guy.
Created this portrait entirely with the lasso tool in Photoshop.
