In this AU blue blood is something like “blood of the undead”. That’s why Markus is “alive”.

[Post revolution] Headcanon that sometimes Simon spends a while in bath... sinking.
Just for extra silence and some sort of isolation.
It helps him to stay face to face with his thoughts or, on the contrary, to "turn his brain off" and relax in the end of the day.
