@FunkyStickman I am the last man on earth who should stickle for "realism".
In March I began serious work on Awesome Moments, my Bible stories. I have mixed feelings about this project. I long ago decided preaching was not for me, but I have kids, and I find the available kids' books on the subject deficient.
@TEWFuller The adventure game engine itself, I intend to immediately turn into the backbone of a JRPG engine, which has two "Lite JRPGs" planned for this year. Last Legends I & II respectively.
The engine takes its strongest influence from the various Mario RPGs and from Chrono Trigger.
@RegressiveBard Smiley TVs are the question blocks/treasure chests.
They are also Jack-in-the-box monsters.
Capdjaks serve as general purpose question block/treasure chests for my stuff. They are also Therians.
..that gives me two problems to solve. How to arrange the options menu, which I must solve in any case, and how to communicate the controls to the player on the title screen.
Capdjaks may prove useful here as well.
I don't subscribe to Adobe. But I've been tinkering, trying to find a solid vector based workflow.
I've gotten halfway decent results "painting" my ink in a raster program, then auto-tracing it with Inkscape, but it's not what I'm looking for yet. https://t.co/hM6TwFXTzG
