I'm trying that technique where you draw the shading before your create the color layer as an overlay... and it works really well!
It does have a tendency to either look too gray, or 'dynamic', but I think it can be solved with manipulating the shade layer😉

I played it a while ago, but then I got busy with work and couldn't finish it - maybe it's time to finally see where that plot twist was going haha

@naeniit I was thinking something like this, but maybe a steeper 'incline' towards the nose would make more sense, for the black lines, and would reinforce the white 'cheeks'

How does this look for a design for Fox!Marinette? The mask seems a little plain to me 🤔

Fortunately the spiraling design of the Dragon can work well with the Bee's stripes. But I'm unsure about the coloring of red/yellow. Maybe that should also be stripes? 🤔
