Nagatoro has been a character since 2012, and the manga got published in 2017. Yet we never had these sorts of posts until people started tweeting about "those weebs are going to white wash her!!".
Starting to think that the 2002 Kanon anime by toei has such a weird looking protag because the character designer only had weird faceless CGs as reference and decided to just draw on a face.
