@eightyuhhh It's a pretty uncanny resemblance not gonna lie. But bear in mind the coincidence that these two were created at about the same time, divided by 5000 miles of ocean.
Not sure if this aspect of online culture needs any explanation now that web society has progressed, but I have a whole race in my comic of fox/wolf girls (called Denizens) based on deviantArt/Tumblr OC base tracing and recolor culture.
