Absolutely magnificent exhibition 'Masterpieces from Buckingham Palace' The finest canvases from the largest private art collection in the world, 60 of them, which normally hang in the Palace Gallery but have been relocated here whilst renovation works take place (short thread)

...Laura Knight and Chris Nevinson and their pictorial records of the Battle of Britain and The Blitz. And it was certainly my highlight of the day particularly the depictions of bombed London during The Blitz some of which I've photographed here. 3)
There are literally hundreds of aircraft on display covering the history of the RAF since WWI.
However I'd primarily come to be at the first day of the new #art exhibition 'In Air and Fire', a collection of paintings by noteable artists such as Paul Nash, Graham Sutherland 2)
..... works from the likes of Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, George Frederick Watts and even Augustus Rodin. Well worth a visit for fans of #sculpture #harlow
Sculptures by artists both famous and lesser known, can be found in their dozens so much so that in 2010 it officially became the world's first 'Sculpture Town'. The collection has become an integral part of the social history and human geography of the town....
