A while ago I made a skull diagram of Olorotitan. I decided to make another version with all the bones labeled and coloured. I've also added new posterior, ventral and dorsal views.
Since there is no complete Dilophosaurus skull I'm using reference from incomplete skulls to fill in the blanks, with the holotype as a base. Even so, there's a lot of puzzling involved. There's still a lot more to detail and tweak to make sure it's as accurate as it can be.
@cullen_thomas @MuseumofNature Wait what is this? Is that edge of the bone serrated? Or am I missing something?
I wanted to finish this in time for #hadroween, but I ran out of time so here's a WIP instead. Then I can finish this later.
With that said, here's two Olorotitan fighting for dominance because we need more badass hadrosaurs. #paleoween
Here's my entry for the #drepanomania speculative zoology #paleostream event. Two large terrestrial drepanosaurs fighting for dominance.
I made another hypothetical skull reconstruction of an obscure European hadrosaur. So here's the French lambeosaurine Canardia.
