I finally got around to watching Episode 1 from Vinland Saga Season 2. Exceeded all of my high expectations. An utter masterpiece in composition, music, and both OP and ED were stunning.

Hats off to everyone involved in the production team. Hyped for ep. 2!

From all the side stories that have so far been serialised in Comic Alive, the one that has been waiting the longest to be compiled in a Tanpenshuu or EX version is "The Red Snow on Orcos' Domain".

The story was first released in August 2016.

According to Tappei, finding a nickname for Beatrice became a problem after he came up with her character due to Beatrice from Umineko, who is abbreviated as Beato.

He eventually settled on Betty, which was a safe, albeit common choice.
