I have an obsession with how alien cultures might eat or drink. I would love to create a whole set of 3D sculpts 'cups' that cater to nectar feeders. Or our friends with cheek muscles that can't suck/sip. I never much cared for this doodle but I still love the ideas it inspires!
Magot eyes, glow, starstuff and feathers. I love how even years after- this little scribble still holds a ton of character.
I learned the importance of avoiding black and white. I ended up doing a lot of scribbles like these using 1-3 colors. I still would love to revisit this one in particular. A sentient species with a face full of octo-grabbers.
