Realized I didn't have any human representation! Vittoria Trollbane, another original DM NPC. Daughter of Galen Trollbane and heir to the kingdom of Stromgarde. She can also wield a greatsword in one hand and her DnD class is bard/barbarian. She's lovely.
Verdict on the "do your lineart in a bright color and darken after" strategy? Do it. Absolutely do it. I even subconsciously made the lineart more detailed as a result and it looks freaking awesome. Plus it's such a cool surprise when you darken the lines.
