@MazAuthor @chickenhsebooks @Waterstones Yesssssssss. All shall be taught the Old Ways.
Happy world book day to my very talented friend @a_reflective. Pick up Boot It today (for upper KS2/KS3)!
@Magic_Kitten @phoenixcomicuk @jamiesmart @john_self oh hello this is my mastermind topic! Depending on their age, for teenagers @nikeshshukla's book out next thur is hilarious, about being a teenage standup.
@RamzeeRawkz @alis_samp @graemem Bridgette from Once and Future is a BRILLIANT one.
As a freelancer bank holidays mean nothing but this time I decided to experiment with...not doing anything. So far so good!
@Keris @NonPratt Lesbian wristband culture represent! See also Kit in The Wizard in the Wood. @Ortu_Ilustrador's work
Happy publication day to @philearle for what will no doubt be another blinder! (Full disclosure, I've been waiting to read this until I'm in a mood of unshakable cheer due to animals in danger...)
The REAL cancel culture in children's publishing is no one letting me publish a horrifying and unsettling pop up book that will suck the souls out of children.
@bookdepository @WalkerBooksUK @a_reflective @edgechristopher @aishabushby One more before I go - @bb_alston, whose latest Amari book is coming sept. He manages to play with tropes and make them new. I salute that skill. The one bit I remember enjoying of studying literary theory was russian formalism - the art of making familiar stuff strange.
