I'm trying to get the very last finishing touches done on this piece tonight cause that will mean I'll have finished it within one week. That's huge for me! Granted...I had 3 days off of work and painted nonstop on those days lol. I'm so pleased with how this is turning out.

I'm using sumi ink after mostly drawing on my iPad for months and now I'm even more convinced that I should improve my digital work and try to translate the way I paint traditionally into that work cause MMMBOY THIS TAKES SO LONG...but looks so nice 😢

Louis through the years! New for 2021, fancy in 2010, and my first drawing of Louis in 2008. It's encouraging for me to see these next to eachother. I want to get back to drawing more dynamic poses like in my student work but am still figuring out his new bod & juicier tentacles.
