A lot of time was spent on the art style alone. There’s been so many “versions” of the show since we started, and people who have come and gone. But at a certain point, things stuck and we got to where we’re at now. 3/3

After a break, we came back. The idea for the comic-shaded style came from the visuals of a few issues of Web of Spider-Man we had planned to adapt. Spider-Verse’s use of a comic style cemented that it was the right choice. 2/3

We first started making the show in 2017. Around that time we called it “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.” It was very disjointed, and it became clear real fast that we didn’t have the skill to see it through yet. 1/3
