References are one of the most important things to construct a drawing,at least for me. And yeah, you will improve tremendously when you start using it. And try to combine from a lot of references to make an interesting drawing.

Remade my old OC, turn him into a cuter version of himself. Probably need to redo his outfit,color palette. Since his personality changed a lot. 👌
