Following this rule, Luffy's birthday should have been on May 6 (5/6) because it seems that his number is 56 (often we find this number on his clothes) which comes from "Go Mu".
However, Oda wanted his birthday to be precisely May 5th, as if he inspires and starts the Revolution.

Doesn't it make you think of the globe in the Ohara library? There’s a star (or a planet) and six satellites. In Japanese, OP world is called “青色の星” = Aoiro no hoshi (blue star). A star and six satellites indicate the universe (and that’s Vegapunk's target).
