I did something really stupid .. I overwrote the #TheFalconAndTheWinterSoldier file. A large part is gone ! Maybe it is a sign. Because I still don’t like working on it at all !

Joseph Christian Leyendecker appreciation post. (1874 - 1951)

Born in Germany in 1874, Leyendecker was considered one of the best illustrators of the 20th century.

The man in the 4th image is known as the Arrow Collar Man, most likely modelled after his boyfriend.

Work in progress so far of my current painting. Undecided about the background yet. There will be a ribbon curling around both hands, not sure which color. Yet. I’m just making up ideas as I go.

I am using a ref from Pinterest for the hands !
