I'm poking through the MLP comics and I got to this page and decided a good title would be
"HEY KIDS! CAN YOU PICK OUT WHICH OF THESE PONIES ARE NOT STRAIGHT?"
I love how the MLP fandom named a background pony Dr. Whooves due to his resemblance to the 10th Doctor and the show artists just ran with it and paired him up with Rose because Rose Tyler was the Doctor's companion in DW.
They knew exactly what they were doing and they did it.
@bahnloopi My porcupine OC has purposefully rounded... well... almost everything. Rounded ears, rounded spikes, flat and rounded nose. The idea is to differentiate her from hedgehogs, but porcupines ironically have sharper spines than hedgehogs irl, so that wasn't thought through well, lol
1/2 Approaching 9 years ago now, before I understood anything about LGBTQ+ terminology or etiquette, I created Circe the Cardinal. Thru patient conversations with friends in the community, I've been able to iron out her identity with proper pronouns. Thanks to all of you...
Whoops, forgot one. But it was also HORRIBLY inaccurate and I drew it before I'd taken the class and learned what all the terms meant.
Apologies to the schizophrenics out there. If anything, this is a view into how uneducated we were in society in 2003.
How about some old art? I used to draw covers for the binders I used for different classes starring my OCs.
I never finished Bio Psych because my gel pens were shitty and ran out of ink. First three were done in high school, Bio was done in college away from my art supplies.
I drew Marshmallow the Otter in the Sonic the Fighters style as a commission. These are always a lot of work but I like to think they pay off okay. :) Done in PSP7.
Attaching an offic. Sega render of Amy as an example so you can compare the Sega Saturn polygonal look I went for.
Commission for @CharmanDrigo. It's Drigoshi! He's got a neat outfit I didn't get to explore much from this perspective, but Drigoshi is still a nifty character. :)
Thanks for the patronage, dude! #yoshi
Special shout-out and thanks to @SorcererLance, @AnimeCwboy, @Reallymbg, @Droccy, and @SylvanRat for their kind words and support last night. I'm not as bad today, and their kindness is a huge reason. ❤ Thanks, guys~
So here's art that hasn't seen the light of day in 21 years.
