1: Spiritomb

Spiritomb is one of the most nostalgic Pokemon for me. I was always fascinated with it and the Hallowed tower before I even knew how to get it, and once I did. Some of the best times in my life were the times I spent underground with my friends. (1/3)

2: Absol

Those who know me might be surprised it isn't number 1. It and number 1 have always flip flopped places over the years. I first found Absol in Mystery Dungeon, it was my most reliable teammate. In school I related to it's story as a misunderstood kid. (1/2)

3: Darkrai

I watched Rise of Darkrai so many times when I was younger, I was obsessed with that movie. I even tried the void glitch to catch one in game before I got an action replay. I even shiny hunted one in platinum after the DNS exploit dropped

5: Infernape

Probably my first "real" starter from the first game I actually owned for myself. I still have one from one of my first ever diamond playthroughs in my box in home or sword (can't remember which). Plus the fact it's based on Wukong and I also love Dragon Ball

6: Deoxys

Everything from its design to its lore to its movie to its game appearance. Everything about it is just so interesting. I used to hack this onto my team and carry it around everywhere back in the Gen 4 action replay era

7: Impidimp

Little gremlin bastard. I spent so long shiny hunting one when SwSh came out even though I don't like Grimmsnarl much at all. This little bastard just resonated with me at first sight

8: Squirtle

Technically my first starter but it was on my friends copy of LG which I borrowed for a short time and didn't make it far when I was like 5. I also loved him from the anime and was my first player Pokemon in Mystery Dungeon
