I am desperately trying to understand lighting effects and apply them to traditional artwork. This is me screwing around with multiply layers and screen layers trying to understand where to even start. If anyone has tips for doing this traditionally, tell me

Trying to eyeball adjust the colors from how the scanner washes them out to how they should look is a process

Round two with the copics and round one with gil’s outfit. May do another version in watercolor with a background proper

I learned several things from this, including that I should have pushed the skin tone way darker in the gestalt of everything. Feedback for next time. ON THE PLUS SIDE this is when I finally figured out flat washes so that's cool
