Today we commemorate Anton Fransch, a young MK soldier, and anti-apartheid activist.
He died on this day in 1989 - after a 7 hour battle with Apartheid police, in Athlone. He was armed with only his pistol and AK47.
We salute his bravery and sacrifice.
