Another quartet of portraits, starting to nail down a style, now. More practice is still needed for consistency however, particularly when it comes to drawing the same face at different angles.

Confident in their technological edge, System-11 finds its MK2s falling short in the coldswamps of Sond. With rifle jammed and discarded, and its plasma unable to fell the KC machine, the light mech is forced to battle in melee with the red giant.

Happy holidays everyone! Today we've got a standoff between a KC LCM and a Paladin 51C. The sluggish Lohan-Scott mech is no match in close quarters with the flexible Korst Collective machine. A strike with a club and a flurry of gunfire open it up to a deadly haymaker.

Lohan-Scott LM-51C used by the Paladins of Cerise. Lohan-Scott is an inter-system corporate nation selling basically anything under the sun, from fuel grade biomatter slurry all the way to orbital shuttles. L-S reaps the market by being cheap and easy to access.

Flatfoot of the Paladins of Cerise, another brigand force operating on Sond made up of die-hard loyalists to the old regime, many of which fought in the personal army of the Cerise family. Flatfloots are old designs, sluggish and hardy, requiring a crew of 3 to operate.

A KC LCM tentatively peeks out from behind cover to determine the source of the heavy autocannon fire so it can respond with its own gunfire. Thankfully Sond's early terraforming meant it was seeded with very hardy flora, including bulletproof trees.

Something a bit different from my standard fare: Haven't practiced faces in a good while, and if I'm ever going to make a comic about the copius amounts of mechs I draw, I should probably be able to draw the pilots (and support crews!) too.

A particularly haggard Korst Collective LCM-1 equipped with an unlicensed copy of the Lohan Scott mixed munitions gun. Minor modifications are present in waterproof sheathing around the limbs to protect against the thick, silty equatorial Sond swampwater.
