Morning, Happy Monday! I’ve started on this lovely pair today as well as two dog portrait commissions. (one is a birthday surprise in May) I always start my paintings off with watered down Acrylic. I work quickly creating a tonal under painting and establishing a good composition

My finished oil painting of the elephant I saw in Africa. I’ve called him ‘Xolani’ which means peace in Zulu. He measures 75x90cm. He’s for sale. Come and see him, in the flesh with all of my other art work at Sir Harold Hillier Arboretum and Gardens, Romsey 17th-25th September.
